Day 33 April 6th

A little late but we made it.

You really had to be careful of which lane you were in!

The exit speed limit is 60!

It was like reading a novel with all the signs as we went through Houston!

I did not know my truck could do eighty with a trailer.  It seemed to like 75 the best it worked too hard at eighty.

We had a long drive today to make up for the lost time yesterday with the tire incident. We travelled from Port Allen, LA to Fredericksburg, TX. Driving through Houston and San Antonio was a bit of an adventure in itself...not sure the photos can really grasp the scale of things, but suffice it to say, everything really is bigger in Texas! The wildflowers were in full bloom along the highways, they were really beautiful to look at, sorry we could not get a good photo at 80 mph...which is the speed limit here!
