Day 22

March 26
We went to Univeral Studios to see the Harry Potter stuff. We all had Butter Beer which was very good and went to all the Shops. The Dragon roller coaster was extreme with at least two loops, I can't say for sure because my eyes were closed. Jane and her dad went on it twice. The castle ride was an amazing piece of electronics, it really made you feel like you were flying. Anna was lucky and was chosen for the wand demonstration, in which she got the whole experience of selecting a wand. A really cool wand picked her. We ate at the three broomsticks which was good and moderately priced. We did notice a big difference in the way they handled people. One of the most unwelcoming aspects was the ticket differences for an extra 100 dollars a person you could skip waiting in lines and always go straight to the front. Disney did not charge you extra for the fast pass but instead gave you tickets to return to the ride you wanted at a certain time, a much nicer system and more friendly. The longest line we stayed in at Disney was about 25 minutes, but at Universal we had to wait 60 to 90 minutes for the major rides (except the roller coasters, I guess because they are so big and scary most people opt not to ride them). Universal was wall to wall people even in the shops it was difficult to move around, the entire Harry Potter section was extremely crowded, to the point were we would have to hold on to eachother not to get lost in the crowd.
