| Cactus flower must come out at night and stay open during the day. |
Today we visited Saguaro National Park or at least one part of it. We drove over to the other section of the National Park the west section of Saguaro. This section is much nicer than the one closer to Tuscon. To correct something from yesterday, we saw lots of flowering saguaros on the west side of the park, so the blossoms must appear at night, but remain open during the day. We watched a Gila woodpecker coming and going from its nest in a saguaro. Someone at the park said we must go to the Desert Museum which is not a museum but a very well done zoo full of desert animals. Taking thier advice we stayed at a state park right near by.
